Is life being challenging at the moment? Are you feeling confused, overwhelmed, depressed, anxious? Are you feeling stuck and unable to move forward in your life, your job, or your relationship? Are you feeling worthless and unloved, and looking for comfort in food, alcohol or drugs? Are you finding it difficult to accept life changes? Do you feel like you need help? Do you need someone to help you seing through this difficult moment?

If you answered Yes to any of those question be reassured that you are not alone in this and there is nothing to be ashamed of in needing help to see you through tough moments.Everybody goes through difficult times in life, everybody needs somebody to talk to, somebody who listens without judging. Everybody, at some point, can be in need of a professional to help one making sense of one's difficulties, gaining insights into oneself and bring change into one's life.

My aim is to facilitate your journey through these difficult times to help you remove the obstacles that stand in the way of a more fulfilling life.

I'm a qualified and experienced Existential psychotherapist in private practice.  I offer a confidential service to individuals and couples and clinical supervision to Counselling trainees and qualified therapists. My main theoretical approach and training is Existential and Phenomenological.

Depending on your needs I also work using an integrative approach. That is, other theoretical models like Gestalt, Jungian psychology, Focussing, and Art are used to inform my work.

I will not categorise you or pathologise your difficulties. I will respect your individuality and unique way of being and I will not judge you. I will provide you with a safe environment where you can clarify your thoughts, explore your emotions, deeply connect to yourself and heal your wounds.

I will facilitate your process of gaining self-awareness and self-understanding, which are the primary goals of therapy and the first steps towards bringing a positive change into your life. I will be with you with acceptance and compassion, and I will encourage you to be accepting and compassionate towards yourself and others. For some people the counselling room is sometimes the only place where they can meet themselves as they are, without prejudices or facades, and feel deeply accepted and understood.

Psychotherapy and Counselling are first and foremost about gaining self-awareness and a greater sense of yourself in such a way that will enable you to make greater informed choices, to assume responsibilities, to accept the limitations of existence, to create or re-create meaning in yourlife, and most important to accept yourself and others without judgment, but with compassion.

Psychotherapy and Counselling can be difficult at times, as the journey into oneself is not always an easy one. The path is sometimes rocky, other times smooth, sometimes frustrating and other times rewarding. Just like life. It is a path worth taking and a life enriching experience.
